光华设计基金会（Dragon Design Foundation）是中国第一家设计基金会。宗旨：扶持设计人才成长，推动设计产业发展；致力于追求人与自然融合共生。

     光华设计基金会面向全国设计人才、专业机构开展表彰、奖励、资助，做好“光华龙腾奖”、“中国设计业十大杰出青年评选”、“中国设计贡献奖评选”、“龙腾之星评选”等公益奖项，组织开展“中国设计节”、“中国设计论坛”等专业活动，广泛推进“设计创业计划”、“中小学设计创新教育”等公益项目。在设计产学研合作、科技创新成果转化、支持地方设计创新基地建设、国际设计交流等方面积极拓展全新的公益路径。努力搭建设计产业聚集的平台、设计人才服务的平台、设计信息交流的平台和设计投融资服务的平台。

     光华设计基金会还以参与推进“国家设计创新战略”为己任，调动社会各方面力量，以多种方式谏言献策，助力中国设计产业蓬勃发展。

As the first design foundation in China, Dragon Design Foundation( DDF) was established in Beijing with the tenet to support the growth of design talents, promote the development of design industry, and pursuit the commitment of integrate coexistence between nature and mankind.

Dragon Design Foundation carries out a series of activities of public good targeted at the design community. It administrates the DDF Award, China Top Ten Youth in Design Industry Award , China Design Award, Dragon Star Award , to name a few among other, commendation and funding. Moreover, DDF organizes China Design Festival , China Design Forum and other professional events. It is the promoter of major public projects such as Design Business Plan, Design Innovation in Primary and Secondary Schools. DDF is actively developing new ways to promote cooperation among design industry, education and research communities in order to bring scientific and technological innovations into the design industry. It supports local governments to build and develop their design industry bases. DDF commits itself to building a a platform to serve the design industry 360 degree:  from information exchange, talent development to investment and corporate finance advisory.     

Dragon Design Foundation participates in the National Design Innovation Strategy with the responsibility to promote this important initiative among all sectors in the society to contribute to the flourishing of Chinese design industry.
